Elif Aktas

Psychological Counselor Elif Aktaş received her BA from MEF University and her MA with Thesis from Yeditepe University, specializing in English Psychological Counseling and Guidance with honors and high honors degrees; she is currently continuing her integrated doctorate education in Clinical Psychology.

 

During her undergraduate education, she conducted studies on music education and anger management; and during her graduate education, she conducted studies on self-compassion and cognitive flexibility.

 

She completed her supervision by receiving training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Family Counseling, Relationship and Marriage Therapy, Sex Therapy, Play Therapy, Fairy Tale Therapy, CAS Test, MOXO Attention Test, MMPI Test, Child Picture Analysis, Objective Tests, Projective Tests, WISC-R Test and Mindfulness Trainer.

 

She works in the fields of individual therapy, family and couple therapy, test administration, parental counseling and group counseling with child, adolescent and adult populations. In addition to her working life, she participates in volunteer work in Maya Foundation, Mor Çatı Foundation, Koç University KURAM Lab. and AFAD organizations.

 

Provides psychotherapy and counselling in English.
